Răzvan Marin moves from Viitorul to Standard Liège
Răzvan Marin left FC Viitorul for Standard Liège after the clubs and the Romanian midfielder reached an agreement. Standard announced the signing on January 20, 2017.
The Belgian club’s announcement credited Marin with 88 appearances and 13 goals for Viitorul, where he had begun his professional career at 17. He arrived as a Romania international with four senior caps and one international goal.
For Viitorul, the transfer marked another academy-developed player’s move into a European league. Standard welcomed the midfielder as a young addition to its squad.
