Bogdan Țîru cleared to travel home with Viitorul after Gent match
FC Viitorul said Bogdan Țîru had returned to the team hotel after hospital examinations following the match against KAA Gent. The defender was expected to travel back to Romania with his teammates on Friday.
Țîru left the pitch on a stretcher after an aerial challenge with Renato Neto in the 77th minute. The club’s July 29, 2016 update said medical staff had allowed him to leave hospital after the examinations.
Viitorul finished the match with ten players because the team had already used its three substitutions when Țîru was unable to continue.
